Environmentally-friendly software: energy from the sun

The company that publishes the Aurora Web Editor, Multimedia Australia, strives to be one of the most environmentally-aware organisations in Australia.

At the beginning of 2007 Multimedia Australia became one of the first Australian IT companies to trial the use of solar panels to generate electricity to run a small percentage of its computer equipment.

Parts of the Aurora Web Editor were developed on computer equipment powered by environmentally-friendly solar electricity.
